Volunteer Opportunities

The Clothing Shop is managed entirely by volunteers who seek donations, sort clothing, staff the Shop, and answer phone calls and emails.

We welcome any help you are willing to give us in these areas:
Staffing the store Thursdays 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm and the 1st and 3rd Saturday
or each month from 9:00 am - 12:00 noon
Sorting – Tuesdays from 10:00 am - 9:00 pm and Sundays 10:00 am - 12:00 noon - Room 1612
Spanish speakers are needed to interpret during Shop Hours
Spanish speaker with email capability to translate printed materials on an as needed basis
Children's workers to provide programming for children of Shop clients while they shop

Donation Cottage clean-up Volunteers are needed Sunday evenings for about 20 minutes immediately after the service to help police the area around the donation cottage.

Other areas of service: Webmaster, writers for blog, data entry, computer programmers, Health educator, PR liaison,  telephone calling, Special Events.

This ministry lends itself to providing one-time service ministries for small groups.
We have one day and evening that we sort clothing, and anyone is welcome to join us. We can also set up a sorting time for your group during your meeting time.
It takes many people to make this ministry happen. We are so grateful for all who are donating time and clothing items. Please consider joining us.
